What the application does

anton-ads-tool is a command line application used day to day to run advertising for a small portfolio of contracted advertisers. It talks to the Google Ads API and does four things.

Reporting. Pulls campaign, ad group, keyword, search term, asset and conversion performance through GAQL queries (GoogleAdsService.SearchStream) and turns them into reports for the advertiser who owns the account.
Account audits. Reviews account structure, impression share and lost impression share, quality score, budget pacing, conversion tracking setup, change history and Performance Max asset groups, then lists what is wrong and what it costs.
Optimization, with human approval. Prepares routine changes such as budget adjustments, bid strategy changes, negative keyword lists and new campaign drafts. Nothing is written to a Google Ads account until the operator reviews the exact change and confirms it. New campaigns are always uploaded in paused state.
Keyword and search term research. Builds keyword plans for new campaigns and mines search term reports for waste.

The application has no public interface, no sign up, no user accounts and is not distributed, resold or offered to anyone outside the operator's own practice.

How it uses the Google Ads API

The application authenticates once, as the operator, through Google OAuth 2.0, and stores the resulting refresh token locally. It does not ask advertisers or any other end users to sign in with Google.

Why this scope	The Google Ads API exposes a single scope. Reading performance reports and applying approved changes to campaigns, budgets and keywords both require it. No narrower scope exists.
Who authorizes	The operator only, on the Google account that owns the Google Ads manager account (MCC).
Which accounts	The operator's own manager account and the client Google Ads accounts that advertisers have linked to it for the purpose of having their advertising managed.
Other Google APIs	None. The application does not read Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts, Photos or any other Google user data.

Data handling

API credentials (client ID, client secret, developer token, refresh token) are stored in a restricted directory on the operator's own machine with owner only file permissions. They are never shared with third parties.
Data retrieved from the Google Ads API is used solely to report on and manage the advertising of the advertiser whose account it came from.
The application does not sell data, does not transfer it to advertising networks, data brokers or any other third party, and does not use it to train machine learning models.
The application does not collect personal data about the end users who see or click the ads. It works with account, campaign and aggregated performance data.
Access is revocable at any time by the advertiser, by unlinking the account from the manager account, and by the operator, through Google Account permissions.

Limited Use

anton-ads-tool's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Anton Orlikovskyi is an independent performance marketing consultant. He plans, launches and manages paid advertising on Google Ads and Meta Ads for a small portfolio of small and mid sized advertisers in Europe and Turkey, and builds the reporting and automation that sits behind that work. Client accounts are managed under a single Google Ads manager account.

anton-ads-tool is the internal tooling for that practice. It exists so that reporting and account audits are consistent and repeatable instead of assembled by hand in the Google Ads interface for every client, every month.
